Dubai has once again clinched the coveted title of the most popular destination globally in the 2024 Tripadvisor Travellers' Choice Awards. This marks the third consecutive year that the city has stood out as the preferred choice among globetrotters.

The prestigious accolades, bestowed by Tripadvisor, were determined based on the quality and quantity of reviews and ratings spanning various award subcategories, including accommodations, restaurants, and things to do. Travelers shared their experiences and recommendations on Tripadvisor, covering the period from October 2022 to September 2023.

According to Tripadvisor, Dubai's charm lies in its ability to make everything feel extra spectacular. From the modern marvel of the Burj Khalifa to the vibrant souks and opulent malls adorned with gold and jewelry vendors, Dubai offers an unparalleled blend of modernity and tradition. The city is described as a place where dreams become reality, whether it involves indoor skiing, dune-surfing in the desert, or exhilarating zip-lining above the iconic skyline.

While London retains its title as Europe's number one destination, it secured the third spot globally, with Bali, Indonesia, claiming the second position. Hanoi in Vietnam and Rome rounded out the global top five, showcasing the diversity and richness of travel experiences across the world.

New York, the highest-ranking American destination, maintained a solid presence at 25th overall, reflecting the city's enduring popularity. Paris, Cancun, Marrakech, Crete, and Hoi An in Vietnam also secured spots in the top 10, contributing to the vibrant mix of cultures and landscapes celebrated by global travelers.


As Dubai basks in the glory of its triple triumph, it remains a beacon of innovation, luxury, and unparalleled experiences in the world of travel. The city's recognition not only underscores its exceptional attractions but also pays homage to the dedicated professionals in Dubai's thriving hospitality industry.
