WHAT DINA THINKS: Emirates Issues Advisory Amid Unstable Weather

Emirates airline has issued a cautionary advisory for passengers amidst unpredictable weather conditions. With the possibility of rain and heavy traffic, travelers are urged to plan ahead to avoid potential delays.

In light of the inclement weather, Emirates advises passengers flying into Dubai International Airport to anticipate possible disruptions to their travel schedules. Delays are expected, and passengers are encouraged to factor in extra time for their journey to the airport.

“Heavy thunderstorms are forecasted in Dubai on May 2. If you’re traveling to Dubai International Airport, you may experience road delays. We recommend adding extra travel time to reach the airport and using Dubai Metro where possible,” stated a spokesperson from Emirates airline.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has issued alerts for medium to heavy rains over the next two days, commencing from Wednesday evening. In response, employers are encouraged to facilitate remote work arrangements, while schools in Sharjah and Dubai have opted for distance learning.+

For travelers and residents alike, staying updated on weather advisories and taking necessary precautions remains paramount during periods of unstable weather. Emirates' proactive approach in issuing advisories underscores its commitment to passenger safety and convenience amidst challenging conditions.
