DUPHAT 2025: A Milestone Event in Global Pharmaceutical Innovation and Education

 The 30th edition of the Dubai International Pharmaceuticals and Technologies Conference and Exhibition (DUPHAT 2025) marked a pivotal moment in the global pharmaceutical sector. H.H. Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, attended the prestigious event held at the Dubai World Trade Centre, which showcased innovations from over 101 countries.



A Platform for Global Collaboration and Innovation

DUPHAT 2025 brought together pharmaceutical manufacturers, suppliers, and buyers to share and explore cutting-edge technologies and advanced solutions. This distinguished platform provided an opportunity for industry leaders to exchange ideas and collaborate, strengthening the global pharmaceutical ecosystem.

During his visit, Sheikh Saif toured various country pavilions, where he interacted with officials and reviewed state-of-the-art pharmaceutical products and technologies. He highlighted the importance of leveraging these advancements to enhance healthcare standards and community safety worldwide.

Inauguration of DUPHAT Pharmaceutical College

A significant highlight of the event was the launch of DUPHAT Pharmaceutical College, a collaborative initiative between the Abdulsalam AlMadani Global Education Centre and Spain’s UCAM University. The college is poised to redefine pharmaceutical education and research by offering an extensive range of academic programmes, including doctorate and master’s degrees, diplomas, executive courses, and specialized training.

Khaled Al Attar, Director General of the Abdulsalam AlMadani Global Education Centre, remarked, “DUPHAT Pharmaceutical College is a transformative step toward advancing pharmaceutical education. Our mission is to train innovative pharmacists who will shape the future of healthcare globally, promoting sustainability and innovation.”

Expanding the Scope of DUPHAT

The 2025 edition of DUPHAT featured:

  • 1,400 exhibitors showcasing groundbreaking products and solutions.
  • 155 expert speakers delivering 130 scientific sessions and hosting 9 workshops.
  • 400 scientific posters presented by university students, highlighting research advancements.

The conference also offered accredited Continuing Medical Education (CME) hours from leading organizations, providing significant value for healthcare professionals.

Debut of VitaShow Dubai

DUPHAT 2025 expanded its horizons with the introduction of "VitaShow Dubai," a specialized platform focused on dietary supplements and functional foods. Featuring over 275 global brands, the event emphasized innovation in products such as vitamins, botanical extracts, and nutrient-enriched foods. VitaShow Dubai catered to the growing global demand for health-oriented products and provided a collaborative platform for industry stakeholders.

Global Participation and Cultural Exchange

Countries such as Poland, China, and Turkiye played a prominent role, showcasing technological advancements and fostering international partnerships. Their pavilions highlighted the remarkable progress in their respective pharmaceutical industries and facilitated cultural and commercial exchanges.

Accreditation and Support

DUPHAT 2025 received accreditation from prominent international organizations, including:

  • American Pharmacists Association
  • European Society of Clinical Pharmacy (ESCP)
  • Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE)
  • International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE)

The event was organized by INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions in collaboration with the Dubai Health Authority, reflecting Dubai’s commitment to innovation and excellence in healthcare.
