Strengthening Bilateral Relations: UAE and Oman Forge Stronger Parliamentary Ties

 Today, Sheikh Abdulmalek Abdullah Al Khalili, Chairman of the State Council of Oman, warmly received Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC) of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and his accompanying delegation.



During the meeting, Sheikh Abdulmalek highlighted the deep-rooted fraternal relations between Oman and the UAE, emphasizing that these bonds have been continually reinforced over the years by the leadership of both nations. He commended the shared history of collaboration and mutual respect that has shaped the two countries' ties.

On his part, Speaker Saqr Ghobash reiterated the strong parliamentary relations between the State Council of Oman and the UAE’s Federal National Council. He emphasized the importance of expanding and enhancing these relations to cover broader areas of cooperation. The meeting underscored the growing importance of parliamentary diplomacy as both countries look towards a future of stronger collaboration.

The gathering, held in a spirit of mutual respect and cooperation, was attended by several high-ranking officials from the State Council, who also voiced their support for continued strengthening of ties between the two nations.

The exchange reflects the commitment of both Oman and the UAE to deepen their diplomatic and parliamentary bonds, further contributing to stability, peace, and prosperity in the region.
