WHAT DINA THINKS: Abu Dhabi's WED Innovation Lab on Early Childhood Development

In a remarkable continuation of its commitment to early childhood development and environmental awareness, Abu Dhabi's Early Childhood Authority is gearing up for the second World Early Development (WED) Forum in October 2024. Building on the success of the WED launch at COP28, the city is abuzz with anticipation as the WED Innovation Lab takes center stage. This groundbreaking initiative, under the patronage of Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is poised to bring together experts from around the globe to pioneer innovative solutions for a child-friendly ecosystem.

Commencing activities from January 22 to 26, the WED Innovation Lab is set to host more than 30 regional and international experts. Chaired by Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation, the lab aims to create a collaborative space for cross-sector multidisciplinary action. Under the esteemed leadership of Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Office of Development and Martyrs Families Affairs at the Presidential Court, and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority (ECA), the WED Innovation Lab aspires to set new benchmarks in fostering a world-class, child-friendly environment.
