It's all happening on January 9, about 2 days from now. It will starting from the Ahmedabad airport and cruising over to the Sabarmati ashram—a way to show their friendship and common goals as leaders of two countries. Officials revealed recently that Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan (MBZ) will be at the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit. That's set for January 10 to 12 in Gandhinagar, and it's going to be a gathering of some OTHER renowned world leaders. Having the UAE President there, alone, is a big deal. Yes, you read that right!  Amid the persisting conflict between Ukraine and Russia, a MILESTONE happened as the two countries announced their largest prisoner swap since the start of the war in 2021. The exchange was orchestrated by the UAE and it saw the return of over 200 soldiers from each side, marking a crucial diplomatic effort amidst ongoing hostilities. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy took to social media to share the news, stating, “230 of our people. Today, 213 soldiers and sergeants, 11 officers, and six civilians returned home.” Russia's defense ministry echoed the sentiment, confirming the return of 248 Russian prisoners of war from Ukraine.
